Haier Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner with 2600 mAh battery : Effective cleaning, convenient remote control.

Robotic hoover cleaners that wander the house sucking up dust are no longer novelties. However, it is still early on, prices are still high, and new features are still arriving frequently. According to this review, the Haier Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner is an affordable robot that also does a respectable job of keeping the house clean.Simply put, cleaning is a task. One cannot sweep the floor with a broom and mop every day. Jhadoo poncha is a pain, at least for someone like me who lives alone and must manage a long day of office work. So much so that I typically have to make a commitment to only do it on the weekends once a week. So, when I recently had the chance to review the round Haier Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner, I seized the opportunity. The Haier Smart Robot makes the same claims as comparable vacuums, the most well-known of which is the Roomba. This promise reads: Give these clever robots the job of cleaning the floor in your home or room, and they’ll do it day and night, without getting tired or requiring much help. Now, we have previously seen such cleaning robots. They no longer represent a novelty. However, there are a few features of the Haier Smart Robot that stand out. The first is that the price is quite inflated. The MRP of this item is Rs 22,999, but the asking price is typically much less, at about Rs 14,000. Two, despite its low cost, it has a variety of special features, such as the capability of wet mopping and remote control.

Design

There are many attachments included in the box with the Haier Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner. The main unit, the vacuum and water attachment (the robot does not simultaneously vacuum and mop), cleaning brushes and more are among them. The main unit is round, as is typical for such devices, weighs about 5 kg, and is only 76 mm tall. The robot’s body is made entirely of plastic, but I thought the construction was solid and the plastic to be of good quality. The robot has a simple appearance. It actually resembles a massive power button created by Apple, and the power button in the centre is obviously modelled after the kind of power buttons found on Apple products. Overall, I think the Haier Smart Robot is attractive. Given the silver accents on its body, it even looks classy. The robot’s slim design, which is both attractive and practical, enables it to hide under sofas and tables and collect dust from hidden spaces. The dock for charging is fairly compact. After plugging it into a socket, I set it aside in a discreet location. As its name suggests, the Haier Smart Robot is fairly intelligent. As a result, whenever it needs to recharge, it can find the charging station on its own and go there.

I want to draw attention to a plastic protective layer that surrounds the bot’s front half as one aspect of the design. When the robot is moving around the house and runs into a wall or another hard object, springs hidden behind the layer will cushion the blow. The vacuum cleaner has two wheels, one roller, two rubber brushes, a vacuum suction space with rolling bushes connected to the detachable bin, all of which are located at the button. It’s simple to swap out attachments, and cleaning the machine is also hassle-free. Every two to three days, I would clean out the trash and the brushes. The Haier Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner also has a simple setup process. It establishes a Wi-Fi connection and, once it is, can access the Haismart app, which can be downloaded from both the Apple App Store and the Play Store. The app also offers setup instructions for the robot and enables direct phone-based remote control of the device.

Performance

The performance is inconsistent. The Haier Smart Robot performs some tasks exceptionally well while falling short on others. The Haier Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner looks cool while operating or charging, first and foremost. In fact, it resembled a pet that would roam the house so much that I even gave it a name similar to one I would give a dog or cat. Circle is what I gave it. Like any other rambunctious dog or cat, Circle also enjoys exploring open doors. You cannot use Circle in the same way that you leave your front door unlocked for your pets. When I did it, the front door literally ran away from it.Although the Haier Smart Robot has a feature that detects stairs and stops when it comes across a surface that drops sharply, I had to go outside and retrieve it from the main pathway where it had moved after discovering the main door open because my house was on the ground floor. To put it another way, the Haier Smart Robot has a tonne of features, but I wish it also had the geo-fencing feature that some robot vacuums have.

Before we discuss cleaning, let’s discuss battery life, which I believe could have been improved. The robot’s 2600 mAh battery should allow it to operate for approximately 3 hours while cleaning floors. However, in practise, battery life falls far short of the estimates. Once fully charged, the Haier Smart Robot typically cleaned the floor for about 40 minutes before yelling “back to charge” from its tiny speakers and scurrying towards the charging station.Due to its short battery life, the Haier Smart Robot performs best when instructed to clean each room individually. In this manner, each room is thoroughly cleaned before being moved on to the next. In my experience, the Haier Smart Robot performs admirably in both of its modes for dust cleaning—dry suction and wet mop cleaning. The entire exercise is even more effective when done in a mode called edge cleaning. The Haier Smart Robot performs best in rooms that aren’t cluttered, but if you have too much furniture you can choose to control the robot manually so it doesn’t skip over awkward places. Additionally, the bot dusts carpets.

The wet mopping worked better. The robot uses a detachable microfiber cloth to wet mop the floor, which effectively cleans it. It works its magic on anything, including tea stains. You won’t need to keep refilling the water tank as you clean the house because the water tank can hold a good amount of soapy water.Long hair that gets tangled in the rollers and brushes of the Haier Smart Robot’s regular mode can be a problem. While the hair can be manually removed during machine cleaning, it might be an issue for people who own pets with shaggy hair, such as Golden Retrievers.Although the robot cleaners’ performance with dirt is adequate, they do have some restrictions. This is also true of the Haier Smart Robot. Large pieces of paper or lumpy crumbs left behind by your dog after he chewed on a rubber toy are examples of chunky pieces of junk and garbage that it struggles to handle. It is likely that you will need to choose a broom and dustpan in these situations.

Should you buy the Haier Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner?

In comparison to other automatic robot cleaners on the market, the Haier Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner is intelligent, effective, and affordable and has all the features a person would want in a vacuum cleaner. Its feature set is especially impressive. The dreaded “conditions attached” are still present, though, in my recommendation. The average battery life and charging time for the Haier Smart Robot may annoy users. Additionally, cleaning the entire house can take a very long time if you don’t clean one room at a time. The bot also has the same drawbacks as other robot cleaners in that it cannot handle large pieces of trash or long hair. However, given the low cost, I believe the Haier Smart Robot has a lot of appealing features. The Haier Smart Robot can keep the house, or at least its floor, clean. This is especially true for working professionals who live alone and may not have the time or desire to pick up a broom every morning or evening. It has its uses, and given that it only costs about Rs 14,000 these days, I’m sure many people will consider it invaluable.
