3. Core Editorial Principles

Accuracy: Every factual claim should be supported by a reliable source. We prefer primary and official sources.
Independence: Our editorial decisions are made independently. Advertisers and affiliate partners do not decide what we write, how we rate products or what conclusions we reach.
Transparency: We clearly disclose affiliate relationships and sponsored content, and we update articles openly when information changes.
Fairness: We present information objectively and mention limitations, drawbacks and alternatives where relevant.
Reader-first: We write for people, not only for search engines. Content should answer the reader’s question fully and honestly.
Safety: We never ask readers for sensitive information and we warn readers about common frauds where relevant.

4. Sources We Use

For government services content, we rely on official sources such as government portals (.gov.in / .nic.in), official scheme guidelines, gazette notifications, Press Information Bureau (PIB) releases and official helplines. For technology, apps and AI tools, we use official developer documentation, app store listings, company announcements and our own hands-on testing. For products, we use manufacturer specifications, seller listings, verified user reviews and, where stated, our own testing. We link to sources wherever useful so readers can verify information themselves.

5. Content Creation Process

Research: The writer researches the topic using reliable sources and, where applicable, tests the tool, app or process.
Writing: The article is written in simple, clear language with step-by-step instructions, screenshots or tables where helpful.
Review: Content is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, grammar and compliance with this policy before publishing. See our Fact-Checking Policy.
Publishing: Articles display the author’s name and the publication or last updated date.
Updating: Time-sensitive articles (schemes, deadlines, prices, app features, AI tools) are reviewed and updated regularly.

6. Use of AI in Our Content

We may use AI tools to assist with research, outlining, grammar checking or translation. However, all content is reviewed, edited and fact-checked by a human before publication, and a human author is responsible for every article. We do not publish unreviewed, mass-generated AI content. AI-generated images, if used, are labelled where appropriate.

7. Advertising, Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content

RealWhile is funded by display advertising (Google AdSense) and affiliate commissions. We maintain a clear separation between editorial content and advertising:

8. Originality and Plagiarism

All content published on RealWhile must be original. We do not copy content from other websites. When we quote or refer to another source, we attribute it properly and link to it. Images are either our own, licensed, royalty-free, official press material or used with permission.

9. Updates and Corrections

We regularly revisit articles to keep them current. When we make a significant correction, we follow our Corrections Policy and, where appropriate, note the change in the article.

10. Content We Do Not Publish

Content promoting piracy, cracked apps, modded APKs or illegal downloads.
Hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit content or content harmful to children.
Misleading, clickbait or fake news, including fake scheme announcements.
Content promoting gambling, scams, get-rich-quick schemes or unlicensed financial products.
Content that violates Google Publisher Policies or applicable Indian laws.
